Leadlight window repair to mullion at Trent Manor! Glasswood and the team are currently working at Trent Manor on a very interesting project with a historical back ground, with great stories about the local parish and the manor its self! It could be haunted, But the men said they have not seen any ghosts yet!

Our work is to overhaul the existing lead-lights with in  the mullion windows plus casement windows, which is a very rewarding project.

About Trent is a verdant parish in the Yeo valley at the mid-point between Sherborne & Yeovil, 4 miles distant from each, formerly in the county of Somerset, but part of Dorset since 1896. The name ‘Trent’ is thought to mean “trespasser”, possibly in reference to a tributary of the River Yeo whose course runs near the village and frequently floods. There is evidence of pre-Saxon settlement and some believe Bottomless Pit at Trent Barrow to be the lake into which the mythical sword of Arthurian legend – Excalibur – was thrown. In more recent times a coach and horses with all its passengers fell into its murky depths, and it is now said to be haunted.
